Must have full sunlight to perform well. Happy here clambering around in and escaping out of the deep coldframes.

"Pinwheel Jasmine" is hardy here, typically starting the long bloom period mid February unless the winter has been quite mild (it has bloomed in January a few times). Named nudiflorum because these blossoms appear on the nude arched branchlets before the dusky polished three-part leaves appear in the spring. A distant cousin of the much larger Forsythia tribe, this can really confuse gardening friends inspecting this remarkable creature in your garden.
