58718 HOYA RIGIDA ASC HP TGH $ 15.00 A distinctive South China species with pairs of round, quite convex leaves (a Dischidia mimic) a leathery basil tone; Waxy beige and maroon blossoms often numbering up to 20 per inch in a single umble. Happiest grown on a moss surface.

60787 JATROPHA BERLANDIERI EUP HP TGH $ 14.50 Curious Jatropha from Mexico which is grown above ground in cultivation, although its tuber is underground in nature. We find that this plant adapts well in bright windows in the home and greenhouse. These are 3 inch plus tubers with great character.

Fat overstuffed sausage lvs with deep furrows form congested off-setting clumps; distichous congested semi-columns eventually topped with white blossoms faintly scented. A most attractive compact plant seeming more to mimic a Gasteria on pygmy steroids than any more typical "Hemp Plant."

68423 SANSEVIERIA PHILLIPSIAE STRIATA AGA HP TGH $ 85.00 Cylindric grooved lvs form stiff fountain--appearance of a S. cylindrica becoming a tree. Handsome. We have observed many varied plants under this name; our Kew Gardens clone seems distinct from any other species we grow. This clone has gold & lime with dark stripes randomly placed on the terete outarched grooved leaves; somewhat arborescent in time. This variegated form is from the collection of Tony Falco.

68187 SANSEVIERIA TRIFASCIATA HAHNII GOLDEN HAHNII AGA $15.00 "Golden Birdsnest." East Asian clone with wide cream-yellow bands. Grow in a porous mix and avoid chill. This is the original clone. Quite beautiful.

68413 SANSEVIERIA TRIFASCIATA HAHNII JADE AGA HP TGH $15.00 "Birdsnest Plant" New for the Glasshouse Works collection. One of the most distinctive of the Hahni group. This plant has no markings or chevrons. It it a deep jade green. Very thick leaves of deep mahogany green, somewhat sheened, thickly overlap to form tight upright cups. Very bold. Unrooted cuts sent in dry moss.

41138 THORNCROFTIA SUCCULENTA LAB HP CGH $ 5.75 "Mint Oak" Tidy woody stems hold pelted oak-shaped leaves with delicate mint fragrance; purple flowers. Eventually develops a gnarled woody base beloved by bonsai fanciers.

61063 UNCARINA ROEOESLIANA PEDALIACEAE HP CGH $ 17.50 Compact relative of the Uncarina grandidierii. This plant actually blooms at a small size. Very nice caudex forming plant for the collector of odd caudiciforms or Madagascar plant collector. Very odd member of the Pedaliaceae Family. These are younger plants just forming their caudex. A great price for a rare plants. Leaves are fuzzy.

66190 ZYGOCACTUS PLUM CARNIVAL CAC HP TGH $ 8.50 "Variegated Christmas Cactus" The smallish stem segments are pale lime hued, actually quite attractive with the many demure plum fuchsia blossoms appearing in December for us. Lord only knows what the true name for this may have been many years ago when it first appeared with this questionable designation and then quickly vanished from the trade--probably because it appeared chloric to Walmart customers.

66265 ZYGOCACTUS THOR RITT CAC HP TGH $ 5.75 Upright ornate habit with deep grape-violet blossoms of impressive size in December or January. This distinctive "Grape Christmas Cactus" is usually sent as an unrooted cutting in dry moss.
